AZMAN SHAH PROMOTED AS HEAD OF CORPORATE SECRETARIAL & COMPLIANCE, KLSE
NEW ORGANISATION STRUCTURE FOR KLSE GROUP

The Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) Group announced its new organisation structure with effect from Monday, 1 September 2003.

The new organisation structure reflects the move towards a consolidated management structure to better serve the expanded commercial and public interest objectives of the KLSE Group in its transformation to become a more efficient, responsive and progressive exchange. This is part of the demutualisation process enabling KLSE to respond to heightened competition and greater customer expectation.

Senior personnel of KLSE Group in the new organisation structure are as follows:

  • Executive Chairman - Dato' Mohd Azlan Hashim
  • Chief Operating Officer - Dato' Noorazman Abdul Aziz
  • Chief Regulations Officer - Md Nor Ahmad
  • Chief Financial Officer - Abdul Hamid Sheikh Mohamed
  • Chief Information Officer - Ravindran Navaratnam
  • Head, Exchanges - Dr. Zaha Rina Zahari
  • Head, Clearing, Settlement and Depository - Mohd Ridzal Mohd Sheriff
  • Head, Information Services - Fathi Ridzuan Ahmad Fauzi
  • Head, Exchange Systems - YM Ungku A. Razak Ungku A.Rahman
  • Head, Human Resource - Tajuddin Carrim
  • Head, Group Legal - Manoj Devadasan
  • Head, Corporate Secretarial & Compliance - Azman Shah Md Yaman

Departments under the Chief Regulations Officer include Issues & Listing, Listing Compliance, Intermediary Supervision, Market Surveillance & Investigation, Risk Management and Legal Advisory. The Chief Financial Officer will manage Strategy & Corporate Finance, Finance & Administration, Treasury, External Affairs, Public Relations and Business Transformation. The Chief Information Officer will be responsible for Information Technology Strategy & Policy, Vendor Management, Projects and Organisation & Methods.
