Meeting started with demo on Wireless Internet Surfing & how to change id to sdarian84.com, led by Gazali & Nik. Erza & Gazali also demonstrated a few digital cameras for those interested.

First agenda discussed was on sdarian84.com. Aimi explained what was the aim of creating the website. For the time being, skali.com will bear the monthly cost of RM500/month of hosting it on their server. His staff KT Yap is working on the information architecture of the permanent site. In the meantime the group agreed on the design of the temporary website. Among the new things that was agreed to be added was adding keywords that will best describe each person's occupation. This will help in business networking.The keywords will be based on the yellowpages categories. Azmi will put up the categories & everyone will choose their own keywords.

Next agenda discussed was on formalisation of sdarian84 as an organisation or as a company. Amin led the discussion. He believes that unless the group is formalised (either under ROC or ROS), it would be difficult to ensure its continuity & financial stabilty. For example, with no proper account keeping, we have to depend on the goodwill of others to keep the money of the group in their personal accounts. This may cause problems in the future & in planning future activities.

Gazali then suggested the following;
ROC - only for those keen for it only. Shares will be allocated according to funds invested by each interested individual. He said that southern region has agreed to work on it. They will come out with a working paper which would be presented at the AGM.

ROS - meant for all members. However it would be too fussy to register it since too much effort would be reqd. Therefore the egroup as a basis for the informal grouping. To defer the registration for the time being and it would be discussed at the AGM. We are hoping that the lawyers (esp Badak) can take some time to drop by ROS and pick up the necessary papers so that it can be discussed together.

Since we can't open an account under the name of the group yet, Illya is to maintain the account for cuti-cuti Malaysia.

Next to be discussed was the main agenda - Cuti-cuti Malaysia. The details agreed upon is as follows;

Tarikh: 6-8 September 2002. (Alternative date 30,31 Ogos & 1 Sept 2002.)
Place: Bayu Bay Beach Resort, PD, N9

Target: 20 families. Expected RM500 per family for 3 days. Details available from Illya & the website.

Need to confirm by early June with 50% payment with the hotel. Therefore we should get the necessary confirmation from members by end of March/early April.

We need to start dividing the work of contacting members. This needs to be discussed further either in the egroup or with another meeting.

The final agenda was on the t-shirt. The session was led by Nik. The design for t-shirt berkolar is as follows;
