2003 INTER SDARA FUTSAL CHALLENGE
2003 INTER SDARA FUTSAL CHALLENGE
TOURNAMENT RULES & REGULATIONS
- REGISTRATION OF PLAYERS
- Each team can register a minimum of 5 players or up to 8 players at maximum. No further additions will be allowed after 5th October, 2003. An additional of RM50.00 will be charged if there are any teams wish to add or replace from the original list.
- The closing date is on the 26th September 2003 at 10.00 pm.
- Any team caught fielding an unregistered player will be automatically considered as a losing team.
- Registration fee is RM150.00 for each team.
- All payment must be paid prior to the closing time.
- RULES AND REGULATIONS OF PLAY
All matches will be played in accordance of the latest FIFA’s rules, save for the following :-
- There will be no time out observed in this tournament ;
- The duration for each match is two (2) equal halves of 6 minutes each (12 minutes in total). There will be a one (1) minute interval for half time;
- A player who is shown a red card in a match cannot be replaced by a substitute player at any point in the match even after the 2 minutes rule and will be banned for the next match. The decision of the referees and match officials are final and binding. Any protest by teams will have to meet the procedures set out in this document.
- FORMAT OF THE LEAGUE
- Teams will be divided into 4 groups.
- The tournament will be conducted on a league basis.
- A win will be awarded 3 points, 1 point for a draw and 0 points for a loss.
- The top 2 teams from each group will automatically qualify for the Quarterfinal round. All matches in Quarterfinals round will be on a knockout basis.
- WALKOUTS BY TEAMS / SPECTATORS INVADING THE FIELD
If a match have to be suspended as a result of incidents such as walkouts by teams, lack of order, spectators invading the field; The organizing committee will award the match to the opponent with a score of 3-0 or possibly more if the score at the that stoppage time showed a greater number of goals for the team declared the winner.
- UNRULY BEHAVIOUR / ACTS OF VIOLENCE
The organizing committee WILL NOT TOLERATE any acts of violence before, during, or after the match by players, or supporters of the participating teams. Such acts can result in immediate disqualification.
- PROTEST BY TEAMS
Any decision taken by the organizing committee can be appealed by the teams involved within 30 minutes from the fixture end time, in official form that will be provided by the committee with a fee of RM100 (Non-refundable). The organizing committee would not conduct an appeal if these conditions were not met. Decision made by the committee after appealing are final and cannot be appealed again.
- DISCIPLINE
- 2 yellow cards in separate matches will be automatically banned for ONE match.
- 1 red card (including TWO (2) yellow cards in a game) will be automatically banned for TWO matches.
- Teams who are not in the field TWO (2) minutes after kick-off time will be disqualified.
- Should any team failed to attend their respective matches, an automatic victory will be handed to the opponents, with the score of 3-0.
- Should both teams fail to attend a match with minimum eligibly required players, an automatic draw with a score of 0-0 will be declared applicable. However, the decision to award is solely at the discretion of the match official hand. Organizing committee’s decision cannot be appealed.
- MATCH SCHEDULES
All teams are expected to check the latest information of match schedules, which will be posted on the notice board at The ISS. Tournament schedules will also be displayed at our website at www.sdarian84.com. The organizing committee is not responsible for updating the teams on any changes to the schedules, teams are expected to check on any changes made themselves. The organizing committee will not entertain any request for replays once a decision to award a walkover has been made. The organizing committee does not bear any responsibility for the punctuality of participating teams.
- OTHER MATTERS
- All teams are advised to wear jerseys throughout the tournament. In the event that two teams playing each other are using the same jersey colors, then one team will have to use the tournament bibs.
- All teams and spectators are required to adhere to The ISS’s Rules & Regulations displayed at the entrance of the building.
- All teams are advised to use shin guards and other safety precautions.

- DISCLAIMER
The organizing committee reserves the right to change the contents of this form anytime, with prior notice to the participating teams. The adjustment or change resulting from organizing committee’s action need not have the approval from the participating teams. This includes the right to change the pitch, match schedules, tournament format, rules & regulations, substitutions, playing time, etc.
The ISS and its Board of Directors, sdarian84.com Organizing Committee or any sponsors of the tournament shall not be responsible for expenses incurred by any team if this tournament is cancelled in whole or in part, or for any injuries or deaths upon team members during the tournament.
