As a normal convention for meetings, I am pleased to relate herewith the
notes ( don't want to qualify as "minutes"although some of you may deem as
one ) for the Meeting held on 27 July 2001 at Bahadur Shah Pandan Indah at
9.00 pm.

Preliminary.
The Meeting began approximately at 9.00 pm ( although those present came in
gradually until about 10.00 pm) and de facto chaired by Matt.
Matt briefed the Meeting on the intent and purpose for the Meeting vis-a-vis
the Gathering of Sdarian 84 at SDAR sometime end August or early September.
( Note: there was no fixed Agenda for the Meeting, perhaps the next one)
Family Event
The Meeting agreed to firstly consider whether the event shall be
exclusively for Sdarian 84 or should take into account the presence of
family members and turn it also as a family day.
Due deliberations were made and after very serious consideration on the
possible activities for the event and particularly the well being of the
family members (after the Fathers/Husbands activities' have been taken into
account) the Meeting decided that it is to the best interest of all , for
the event to be "exclusively for the Sdarians only. Nontheless, this does
not mean that Sdarian 84 cannot bring along their family members but no
specific activities will be scheduled therefore.
Accomodation
The Meeting proceeded to discuss on accomodation taking into account
outstation members. Due deliberations were made on the logistic issues and
the difficuties in ensuring appropriate arrangements due to the diverse
needs of everyone. After due deliberation it was resolved that accomodation
shall be self arranged to suit the individual needs. Nontheless TAMBUN has
been assigned to name all hotels in Seremban, the rates thereto as well as
the phone nos. He will post the same on the mail soon.
Contact
The Meeting without much discussion unanimously agreed to assign each
present with the duty to contact all Sdarian 84 via phone or whatever means.
The results of this contact assignment will be collated by AMIN SAJADI by
end of next week ( 3rd August 2001) to enable a final headcount to be made.
This will assist CHILEK and NIK YASSIN to inform SDAR when they go there on
Monday 6 August 2001.
The Event
Now come the interesting part. The Event itself.
Much discussion was made on this issue being the main item for the Meeting.
After due and lengthy discussion and deliberation it was resolved by vote as
follows:
1) The event shall begin with registration on 31 August 2001at 3.00 pm at
SDAR Hall. MATT will handle registration with AYAM assisting him. ALL
registrants SHALL pay RM50.00 only for purposes of food for the whole event
and other additional expenses. The balance,if any, will be donated to SDAR.
2) Games will be organised from after Asar onwards until Maghrib. Games will
include soccer and basketball.
3) Dinner will be served after Maghrib until Isyak. Most probably Satay and
stuff; to be confirmed but dinner is confirmed.
4) Showtime after Isyak until midnight.TEMBE will take charge of the show,
most probably performance by Sdarian 84.
The first day will end after that. Free to go to Seremban, Punca Emas (kalau
ade lagi) etc.
5) The second day , 1st September 2001 will start at 9.00 am with rugger
game and continued with volleyball.
6) Then proceed with farewell lunch at Dining Hall.
7) After Zuhur depart.
Any Other Matters
It was unanimously agreed that the event will be held no matter what. All
Sdarian 84 will need to cooperate to make this happen. All must show
commitment to the effort of the Organising Committee.
NIK YASSIN and CHILEK will go to SDAR and inform SDAR management of the
Event and the agreed itenary. They are our anchor personnel and a lot
depends on them.
For the next meeting everyone will report the progress of all assignments
especially CHILEK and NIK YASSIN in order for the Organising Committee to
firm up the Event.
All was well, the meeting was adjourned at 10.30 pm with a vote of thanks to
the chair.

p/s feel free to amend the notes for the meeting since this is only a 1st
draft before we confirm at the next meeting, details of which will be
informed in due course. I may also miss something but so far that was what I
